Spiced Pickled Peaches Recipe
Ingredients
* Cloves
* 1 oz. - stick
cinnamon
* 1 pint - vinegar
* 2 pound - brown
sugar
* 1/2 peck - peaches
Directions
Boil sugar, vinegar, and
cinnamon for 20 minutes. Dip peaches quickly in hot water, then
rub off the fur with a towel. Stick each peach with 4 cloves.
Put into syrup and cook until soft, using one half of peaches
at a time.
Store in basement, cellar or
kitchen shelves in glass mason jars.
