Potato Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

* 1/2 cup - chopped onion
* 1 pint - sour cream
* 1/2 cup - margarine (melted)
* 1 - 2 pound bag - frozen hash brown potatoes
* 2 cup - cheddar cheese (shredded)
* 1 can - condensed Cream of Chicken soup
* 1 teaspoon - salt
* 1/2 teaspoon - pepper

Directions

Thaw potatoes well and combine with melted margarine in large bowl. Stir in sour cream, soup, onions, cheese, salt and pepper. Place in greased baking dish, 13"x 9"x 2" inches.

Combine cornflake crumbs and melted margarine, sprinkle over the top. Cover with aluminum and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Uncover and continnue baking for 20 to 25 minutes. Serves 12.

May be made in advance if refrigerated, but add additional 10 minutes in baking time.

Topping:

2 cups Cornflakes, crumbled or small box of crumbs.
1/2 cup Margarine, melted
