Pickled Dill Pickles Recipe

Ingredients

* Pinch Allum
* 1 teaspoon - pickling spice
* 2-4 - cloves fresh garlic
* 3-4 - sprigs fresh dill
* 1 cup - apple cider vinegar
* 2 cups - water
* 1 - Dried Chile
* 4 6"-4" - cucumbers
* 1 tablespoon - pickling salt
* 1 Quart - Mason Jar w/new lid and ring

Directions

Wash Cucumbers and pack loosly in quart jars, leave 1/2" head space at top of jar. To each quart add 3 to 4 sprigs of fresh dill, 2-4 cloves of fresh garlic, 1 teaspoon of pickling spice, a pinch of allum and 1 dried chile.

For each quart combine 2 cups of water, 1 cup of apple cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon of pickling salt. Bring to boil. Pour over cucumbers in jars and make sure lip around jar is clean. Fill to 1/4" from top. Seal with lids.

Water bath for 10 minutes and let cool.

For each quart of pickles you need...

1 Quart - Mason Jar w/new lid and ring
4 6"-4" - cucumbers
2 cups - water
1 cup - apple cider vinegar
3-4 - sprigs fresh dill
2-4 - cloves fresh garlic
1 teaspoon - pickling spice
Pinch Allum
1 tablespoon - pickling salt
1 - Dried Chile
