Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe
When the flu season comes in our house
everyone is hollering for this it will perk your family right
up...
Ingredients
* 1 large stovetop
pot
* 6 large carrots
diced
* 1 whole fryer
chicken * 4 stalks
celery diced
* Ritz Crackers
(optional)
* 1lb pkg of egg noodles (wide
egg noodles)
* Salt and Pepper
Directions
Boil chicken in a pot full of
water for 1.5 hours. If any water evaporates, be sure
to refill the pot and keep it full.
Take the chicken out of
the water and set it aside and let it cool. While it is
cooling, add carrots & celery into the pot and let
it simmer for 30 minutes.
Debone the chicken and then
add the meat to your broth in the pot.
Add half the bag of egg
noodles, salt, and lots of pepper to the pot. Simmer about
7 to 10 minutes longer. Serve and eat with crackers if you
wish. This will be the best soup in town...
