Fried Grits Recipe
Ingredients
* 6 servings -
Grits
* Cinnamon (Optional)
* Nutmeg (Optional)
* Margarine or
Drippings
Directions
Prepare 6 servings of grits as
package directs. Pour into 8"x4" or 9"x5" inch loaf pan. Cover,
refrigerate several hours or overnight. Unmold, cut into 1/2
inch slices.
In small amount of margarine
or drippings, fry grits over medium-high heat about 10 minutes
per side, or until golden brown. Serve with your favorite
Syrup.
