Fried Cornbread Fritters Recipe
Ingredients
* 1 1/2 cups - hot
water
* 2 cups - self-rising
cornmeal
* 2 - eggs
Directions
Mix together and fry in an
iron skillet with 1/2 cup cooking oil. Have oil hot and fry
like pancakes, 3 or 4 minutes on each side or until
golden-brown. Serve with fresh vegetables.
Some folks like to add whole
kernal corn.
Serves 4-8
