Chile under a Cornbread Blanket Recipe
Ingredients
* 1 pound - browned ground
beef (drained)
* 8"x12"x2" cake pan or Pyrex
dish
* Favorite cornbread
mixture
* 8 oz. can - Lukes pinto beans
(drained)
* Grated chedder
cheese
* 12 oz. jar - chunky salsa (mild
or hot)
Directions
Make cornbread mixture, set
aside. brown ground beef, drain, add beans and salsa, spread
into bottom of a 8"x12"x2" cake pan or Pyrex dish. Add grated
cheese, thin or thick layer, top off with cornbread
mixture.
Bake in 450 preheated oven
until cornbread is golden brown on top, remove and let sit for
about 5 minutes (If you can wait).
Then serve yourself a big
helping, enjoy!
This is my favorite recipe,
empty dish every time.
