Cherry Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients

* 1 cup - self-rising flour
* 1 cup - sugar
* 3/4 cup - milk
* 1 teaspoon - aalmond extract
* 1 stick - butter
* 3 - 4 cups - cherries (unsweetened .. not in sugar or syrup)

Directions

ADD 1 cup sugar (I omit this sugar) to cherries or sweeten to taste.

Use 7"x11" or 9" square pan (non-metal, glass preferred).

Combine flour and sugar...then ADD milk.

Melt butter in pan.

Spoon batter into melted butter in pan.

Spoon sweetened fruit over batter.

Bake at 350 till top is golden brown.
