Cheese Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

* 1/2 cup - grated chedder cheese
* 1/4 teaspoon - salt
* 3 or 4 tablespoons - butter
* 3 or 4 tablespoons - flour (rounded)
* 1/2 cup - asparagus or broccoli liquid
* 1/2 cup - milk or evaporated milk

Directions

This sauce is mainly used with Asparagus or Broccoli, but as I see it, you could substitute the Asparagus liquid with any vegetable liquid. I would think it would be great with Broccoli.

Melt butter and add flour. Gradually add milk and liquid. Blend.

Add cheese and salt. Cook and stir constantly until cheese melts. Let sauce thicken.
